Three nature trails with different themes (Discovering the Vineyards, Escape between Valley and Forest, and the 13 Fountains Trail) were offered throughout the season. Our adventurers set out to explore our beautiful region in a new way thanks to the all-terrain scooters provided by Fontdouce Adventure Park. Our rich environmental and architectural heritage, including Fontdouce Abbey, attracted city dwellers looking for a nature getaway, as well as locals who enjoyed venturing out on the wooded and uncrowded hiking trails surrounding Fontdouce.
Our nature Olympics, a new team adventure
In order to diversify the adventure park’s team-building offering, the team has created a team-building activity for groups of more than 20 people. This new adventure has met the demand for fun and sporting outings from companies and associations, which has been particularly strong in the post-COVID period. The desire to get together and enjoy memorable moments of sharing and fun has brought together around thirty organisations, companies, associations and government bodies from the department and beyond: teams from La Rochelle, Royan, Niort, Angoulême, Bordeaux, Nantes and Paris took part in this new team-building activity, returning to the office with a light heart and wonderful shared memories of the great outdoors in the enchanting setting of the Fontdouce valley.
A range of different activities that continue to appeal to the public
It is also thanks to the diversity of its offerings that visitor numbers to the Adventure Park remain high. Starting with its main attraction, which is the real driving force behind the business, consisting of 13 tree-top adventure courses, including 3 courses dedicated to children and 10 tree-top adventure courses for adults, as well as 2 giant 200-metre zip lines. The Adventure Park continues to attract large numbers of visitors to its tree-top circuits, which are popular with a wide audience: the variety of difficulty levels, the numerous workshops and the quality of the undergrowth with its hundred-year-old oak trees make it a benchmark site in Charente and Charente-Maritime. Not to mention the other activities that complete the offering and contribute significantly to the Adventure Park’s dynamic atmosphere:
