With the 2024 season fast approaching, it’s time to look back on a very busy season for Fontdouce Adventure Park. Here are some figures highlighting the major developments at Fontdouce Adventure Park!
27,000 customers across all our activities
Tree climbing remains our flagship activity. With 13 courses to choose from, customers can enjoy themselves at their own pace, according to their preferences and skill level. We deliberately do not limit the time spent on the courses. This means that visitors can enjoy a full day of tree climbing and make the most of the park without having to watch the clock! The natural setting in which the park is located also greatly contributes to the well-being and loyalty of our customers. Immersed in nature, far from the main roads and the hustle and bustle of the coast, our customers enjoy a peaceful and healthy experience with family, friends, as a couple or even on their own.
1,100 off-road electric scooter rentals
The rental of all-terrain electric scooters has grown significantly this year. With a new fleet of 15 scooters, many more of our customers have been seduced by the charm of the rides offered along the incredible nature trails surrounding Fontdouce. These outings are organised as private trips with family or friends or as part of team-building events. These routes allow us to showcase the natural beauty and heritage of the two Charentes regions.

These professional events took place over three particularly busy months: June, September and October. With groups ranging from 10 to 120 people from all types of industries, Fontdouce Adventure Park organised a wide variety of events. From half-day team-building sessions to full stays combining activities, festive evenings and meetings, the team witnessed some wonderful moments of cohesion this year! Fontdouce is undergoing a significant evolution in team building in 2023 and is specialising more and more each year in organising all types of seminars (team building outings, festive evenings, business meals, outdoor meetings, product presentations, etc.). The team is already working ambitiously to improve its offerings for professionals for 2024!

The Totem Odyssey was revamped last winter to promote well-being and better communication within companies. This activity is constantly evolving, as the challenges are modified and adapted according to the size of the groups. This team-building activity has also been opened up to private groups this year, offering extraordinary days out for private events (stag and hen parties, birthdays, friends/family gatherings). A total of 10 private groups have tried out the adventure, with everyone having a great time over the course of two and a half hours.
Over 50 school groups
Did you know? Fontdouce is a place where fun and learning go hand in hand! Thanks to the proximity of the Abbey and the Park, schools can offer their pupils full days of activities, combining sports and cultural pursuits. Fontdouce Abbey offers treasure hunts and workshops focused on learning and sensory awareness. The Fontdouce Adventure Park offers fun and sporting activities in the heart of nature, allowing children to let off steam but also to gain confidence, discover and respect nature and, of course, other children! It is the ideal place for a successful school trip in Charente!
27 hen/stag parties organised in Fontdouce
Another type of group that is very present at Fontdouce: groups of friends organising stag and hen parties. The park receives the majority of these in spring. Group activities are particularly popular for this type of event! Laser tag remains our most popular activity, but others such as bubble football, archery and L’Odyssée du Totem are attracting more and more groups every year.

Each year, the Traveller’s Choice label rewards tourist sites based on the quality of customer reviews. This title is a fitting reward after 10 years of work spent developing our offerings and skills to ensure optimal customer satisfaction!
A huge thank you to our entire team
The team, made up of 3 permanent staff and 12 seasonal workers, ensured that our guests were welcomed in a friendly atmosphere and that everyone’s safety was guaranteed. We are delighted that many of our 2023 seasonal workers will be returning for the 2024 season, but for those who dream of working at Fontdouce, fear not, we will be opening a recruitment session in January.
