At Fontdouce, team-building days follow one another but are never the same. However, this article invites you to discover the typical programmes we organise for our clients’ team-building outings.
Half-day Team Building sessions
For local businesses and associations, this half-day format is very common. Teams organise a meeting or meal at their premises to start the day, then finish it at Fontdouce with a convivial get-together! Most of our customers who opt for this half-day format take part in our flagship Team Building adventure, The Totem Odyssey. which we recommend you experience as soon as possible! Some companies also decide to come to Fontdouce for after-work events, i.e. after their day at the office, for a moment of total relaxation in the heart of nature. They often end their day with an aperitif in the forest, served on our terraces on stilts.
Full-day Team Building sessions
For full days, there are several formats available. First, we have clients who essentially want to relocate their offices to our reception rooms in order to take their teams to unfamiliar spaces. Far from the routine office environment, everyone can be more creative and communication between colleagues is often more informal and fluid. This is often complemented by a meal in our nature lounge or in a space at Fontdouce Abbey for a cocktail lunch hosted by a caterer.
On the other hand, many of our clients do not want to hear about work during their team-building day. They therefore opt for a day focused purely on team building with our various fun activities. The Totem Odyssey, tree climbing, electric scooter tours, escape games, laser tag, bubble football, interactive rallies… there is something for everyone, whatever your profile, age or fitness level, at Fontdouce!
Finally, the most common format for full-day seminars remains a combination of meetings and group activities. A work session is often organised in the morning, accompanied by a hearty breakfast to motivate the troops. At lunchtime, teams eat in a dining room or our nature lounge and continue their day with an afternoon activity to lighten the mood and put into practice all the connections made that morning.
Corporate events at Fontdouce
Hosting receptions is also very common at Fontdouce. Thanks to its various spaces, Fontdouce Abbey can accommodate large groups (more than 300 people). Our clients can organise a cocktail reception in the cloister gardens or a sit-down dinner in the monks’ hall, followed by an evening of dancing hosted by one of our partners. Team building games can also be organised during the evening.
Team Building stays at Fontdouce
In addition to offering exceptional rooms for hire and fun activities for everyone, Fontdouce also offers accommodation. There are 40 beds available in the lodgings located within Fontdouce Abbey itself. These allow our guests to fully enjoy the peaceful nature of the site for several days. Throughout these stays, fun work sessions and team-building activities follow one another to offer a special experience full of positive energy to the various groups we welcome.
A tailor-made organisation
These different organisational formats are obviously not set in stone. The Fontdouce events team is open to all projects and provides tailor-made services so that each organisation can express its identity through the organisation of ITS seminar.
