Like Robin Hood, test your skills at the Archery Game! Set in the lush green valley of Fontdouce, you’ll have to take on challenges as a team to achieve your goals! The activity is carried out in complete safety using bows and arrows with foam tips. Participants are equipped with helmets for optimum protection! Players are divided into several teams and compete against each other in the various games proposed by your dedicated activity leader. Must be booked in advance, minimum age 9, minimum 6 people.

Cabbage Arrows

The principle is simple! Two teams compete against each other, looking for the arrows in the centre of the pitch and then eliminating the other players.

The team that was completely eliminated lost.

Tic-tac-toe

Two teams play against each other. Like classic tic-tac-toe, you have to align your symbols. Your symbols are replaced by your arrows.

Shot in the dark

Plusieurs équipes de 2 personnes s’affrontent. One of the two team members becomes blind using a scarf, the other must guide him so that he touches the targets to score points.

The team that eliminates the most targets wins.

Without a sound

The sighted archers have to arrange their pegs by colour without making any noise. The aim of the blind archers: to hit the sighted archers!

Petarc

The duos face off. Play a game of pétanque, but… with arrows! The pair with the arrow closest to the peg wins.

Imagine hitting your targets while soaking up the summer sun in the Fontdouce countryside, in the heart of the valley, alongside a forest of ancient oaks and a soothingly babbling brook. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert archer, the Archery Game is a fun activity for everyone.

The Archery Game is an opportunity to strengthen bonds and team cohesion. Anyone over the age of 9 can take part. So it’s the ideal activity if you want to organise an original family outing, a game of skill with friends or a team-building activity to encourage interaction between colleagues. So mix camaraderie and competition in a beautiful environment with this fun adventure for everyone!

A dedicated animator

Throughout the Archery Game, a host is on hand to equip you and explain how the bows are used at the start, then to referee between the teams. The host is also the master of the clocks to manage the duration of the Archery Game games, just as he is the voice of reason by announcing the results at the end of the game to identify the most deserving team!

How old do you have to be to take part in the Archery Game at the Parc Aventure de Fontdouce?

The Archery Game at Parc Aventure de Fontdouce is open to children aged 9 and over. This activity is equally suited to children and adults. Depending on the profiles of the participants, the instructors adapt the games on offer.

How many people can take part?

At the Parc Aventure de Fontdouce, you can take part in the Archery Game for groups of 6 or more. We have a total of 20 pieces of equipment, so for a group of more than 20 people we can organise several rounds.

What if I've never shot with a bow and arrow before?

No need to panic! The Archery Game is accessible to all. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, your host will take you through a few introductory exercises and a few games of skill to get you started. This will give you a chance to even out your skill levels. Don’t forget, this is a team game above all, so all you need to do to ensure victory is to join forces with the team’s great Robin Hood!

Do I have to wear safety equipment to take part in the Archery Game?

No, at the Fontdouce Adventure Park we only advise you to come with closed shoes such as trainers so that you can move around easily. Dress comfortably – you’ll be on the move! We’ll lend you bows, arrows and helmets so you can play the Archery Game at the Parc Aventure de Fontdouce!

Do I have to play all the games in the Archery Game?

No, you can choose up to 3 activities per session. Our activity leaders will be happy to advise you on your choice, adapting to the age and level of each participant. If you want to play all the games in the Archery Game, you’ll need to book several games.

A well-maintained treetop adventure course with varying levels from easy to challenging, plenty of friendly and attentive staff, and a very pleasant lounge area. We also tried it for a children’s birthday party, and it was fantastic, especially with a homemade cake. I highly recommend this place.
