Safety and stability
Here at Fontdouce, we won’t let you set off in poor conditions. The scooters are equipped with high-performance brakes and advanced suspension for a stable and safe ride. For added safety, helmets are provided for the activity, which also ensures your safety! Users must be at least 14 years old and adults must have civil liability insurance. At least one member of the group must have a driver’s license and a credit card imprint is taken when renting the scooters. You will be asked for identification and we will give you a rental agreement to fill out before you set off.
Exploration around three different themes
The Fontdouce Adventure Park offers you the choice of three off-road electric scooter trails, allowing you to discover the flora and fauna of the Charentes region by following the nearby hiking trails:
– The Vineyard Trail: Allow about 1 hour. It is relatively flat and easy for a first outing. Choose this route and ride along the vineyards through the Borderies region, one of the prestigious vineyards dedicated to Cognac production.
– The Between Woods and Valleys Route: Allow 1.5 hours for this ride, as it is more challenging and hilly, and therefore will appeal to experienced riders looking for thrills. This route offers a wide variety of landscapes, including forests, vineyards, and beautiful views from high ground.
– The 13 Fountains Trail: Our third and final scooter trail takes between 2 and 3 hours to complete. On this trail, you will discover what makes our region so special, with pretty wash houses, natural springs, charming little villages and, of course, beautiful paths through forests and vineyards.

Are you looking for an outdoor activity to enjoy with friends, colleagues, or family? Fifteen electric scooters are available for you to enjoy an exceptional experience full of discoveries and thrills! For groups of more than 15 people, we work in partnership with Trot’z ride and Trott’in France to provide a larger number of scooters. This obviously needs to be planned well in advance of the outing and depends on their availability.
How do departures on electric scooters work?
Once the administrative part has been taken care of, you need to scan the QR code corresponding to your chosen route. This QR code gives you access to the routes on the map created via Google My Maps (a branch of Google Maps) or via the Komoot app. You will need to activate your phone’s geolocation feature to follow the route and use it like a GPS. As the routes form loops, the starting and finishing points are the same, i.e., the reception area of the Fontdouce Adventure Park.
