Frequently asked questions about outings at the Fontdouce Leisure Centre

At Fontdouce, we are happy to welcome all leisure centres. Thanks to the diversity of our activities, we can accommodate up to 200 children at any one time. To ensure a smooth experience and minimise waiting times, we can arrange for you to form several sub-groups to divide the participants between each activity.

Yes, it is entirely possible, and even advisable, to choose several activities at Fontdouce in order to get the most out of your outing with your Leisure Centre. Most of the groups we welcome prefer to schedule one activity in the morning and another in the afternoon. This is the ideal way of adapting to time constraints and taking advantage of the wide range of activities on offer at Fontdouce.

In the event of light rain during a Leisure Centre excursion, all activities can still be carried out. However, if a storm is forecast, you can cancel or postpone your trip until the last minute. If you still decide to go ahead with your outing, we will refer you to the activities on offer at the Abbey, which are specially adapted for children, so that they are not exposed to bad weather. If the storm or thunderstorm is of short duration, we invite you to wait in safety until the weather conditions improve. Covered areas are also available for lunch breaks in case of bad weather.

Our facilities and activities are checked daily to ensure optimum safety, including for toddlers during your outing with a Leisure Centre. In addition, child-friendly sanitary facilities are available at several points on the site. Finally, as the site is away from the main roads, it presents no danger to the young public.

In the vast grassy valley of Fontdouce, you’ll find plenty of places to picnic with the kids. There’s no limit to the amount of fun they can have in these green spaces, ideal for outdoor games and recreational activities.
