Monks' hall
With a surface area of 360 m², it is the largest room in the abbey! This room, recently revealed thanks to archaeological excavations, was used as the monastery's writing workshop, the scriptorium. Used for both meetings and meals, it is adjacent to a fully equipped catering area.

With this collective adventure, you're at the heart of a team-building activity: a series of events to be played out in teams in the form of a competition, combining reflection, skill and a touch of physical effort, over half a day or a whole day!
A real challenge to be experienced together through a series of fun stages, for a seminar day out of the ordinary and some great memories in the process!
The events have been designed to cater for the wide range of profiles within a company: they are accessible to all, so that everyone feels involved. With the standard half-day package, you have a choice of events to suit your team, whether you opt for the “softer” or the sportier options!
And for this activity, it's the mutual support and communication between participants that makes the difference, rather than physical ability.
You're free to create your own teams. You can decide to create them yourself, so that the seminar brings together some of your employees or departments who don't see each other very often. Or you can leave it to chance!

Tree climbing
A sensational, rejuvenating seminar!
To strengthen bonds between colleagues, what could be better than surpassing yourself together through challenges at height?
Accrobranche is the perfect activity if you want to experience an outing combining surpassing yourself and cohesion.
You will encourage each other and spread all the energy necessary to get through the different workshops on the high courses. We have 10 treetop courses for adults corresponding to different levels of difficulty: the easy courses are the ideal solution for a gentle discovery. Your colleagues looking for some thrills will try out in groups on our 4 intermediate courses while the more experienced will set off on the more difficult and higher courses!

A seminar for everyone!
Working in teams with your tablets, find the geolocated riddles! Then answer them in a mini-game that you can solve using your tablet.
The aim of the activity? To be the fastest team to find the riddles and also the team with the most correct answers. Each member of your team has to use his or her powers of observation and orientation to find the riddles. But it's also a test of your brainpower to find the best answers to the questions posed. There are several themes to choose from, depending on the focus of the seminar:
- The Disney trail in the forest: it'll take you back to your childhood!
- The Adventure Films in the Forest trail: a look back at the great adventure films of recent decades set in the wilderness.
- The forest's hidden treasures trail: a chance for participants to test their general knowledge of local flora and fauna.
All-terrain scooters
A seminar on the theme of collective wonder!
Would you like to offer your employees a moment of total disconnection during your seminar? Take a ride on an all-terrain electric scooter!
With this activity, you'll discover the area around Fontdouce, dotted with beautiful landscapes and small heritage sites, in a new and fun way. What's more, our scooters are perfectly silent, so you can enjoy the view to the sound of birdsong!
From a safety point of view, the scooters are limited to 25km/h and the routes have been designed to allow you to use safe, little-travelled paths.
How does it work in practice? Our guides explain how the scooters work. Each participant takes their scooter in hand and among them, 2 or 3 scouts download the route on their mobile using a QR code to be scanned; they will be responsible for guiding the group along the entire route. Afterwards, there will be a short training period in the valley to allow everyone to familiarise themselves with their scooters. Once everyone is ready, you can set off along the route. The unspoilt surroundings of Fontdouce are very pleasant and varied, and there are several themes to choose from:
- The vineyard trail: a 1-hour walk through the Borderies and Fins Bois vineyards, two of the most important growths in the production of the prestigious Cognac. The route is relatively flat and suitable for beginners.
- Escape between woods and valleys: around 1h30 of walking between pretty views over the valleys and magnificent undergrowth. This route is the most challenging of the three, offering as many great discoveries as it does thrills.
- The 13 fountains trail: a 2-hour stroll to discover the small heritage sites of the Charente region, made up of fountains, wash-houses and a few isolated hamlets. The route is relatively flat and accessible to all.

Choose Bubble Foot! With this activity, laughter is guaranteed for everyone!
Tucked away in your plastic bubble, you're divided into teams to battle it out in scenarios proposed by our entertainers. Whatever the scenario, you'll find yourselves bumping and tipping over each other into unexpected positions!
And to diversify the pleasures during your seminar, you can combine several activities by combining Bubble Foot with Laser Game Extérieur and Archery Game.

Perhaps there's a Robin Hood in all of you! Now's your chance to find out!
With the Archery Game, you'll challenge yourselves to games of precision and speed using bows and arrows.
Our entertainers will supervise your 30-minute games, during which you will be offered several scenarios. And in the exceptional natural setting of Fontdouce, you'll have the ideal space to share a pleasant moment together in the open air.
And for a real tournament, we recommend combining the Archery Game with our other team activities, such as Bubble Foot or Laser Game Extérieur. Great moments of conviviality to share!

Outdoor Escape Game
A thought-provoking seminar!
It's up to you to solve the riddles that have hovered over Fontdouce for so long!
You'll explore the abbey's halls and outdoor areas, taking part in a series of tests requiring a great deal of thought and observation. Each member of the team has to be highly concentrated to move forward as quickly as possible!
Depending on the size of your seminar, there are two possible options:
- Our 2-hour Escape Game: suitable for groups of up to 15 people, it gets all the participants involved in the same game, so they can move forward together, reinforcing cohesion and communication.
- Our one-hour Escape Game: suitable for larger groups of up to 40 people. With this game, several teams compete simultaneously to try and be the first to solve the mystery of Fontdouce.
Outdoor Laser Game
A seminar in the spirit of competition!
Have you thought about having several teams compete against each other in a spirit of fun and games during your seminar?
Laser Game is the perfect activity for you! And what's more, it's right in the heart of nature!
Each team will have to demonstrate its strategy and skill with the different scenarios proposed by our supervisors.
Each game lasts around 30 minutes, and to give your seminar more substance, you can extend the competition with other activities such as the l'Archery Game or le Bubble foot.

A heritage seminar!
Take advantage of your seminar day to immerse yourself in the fascinating history of a heritage complex founded over 900 years ago.
This is an opportunity to offer your staff the chance to discover the historical dimension of the place where you have chosen to hold your seminar. During a guided tour, you'll be taken back to the medieval period when Fontdouce was founded away from society, then developed under the protection of leading figures of the time. And after some difficult times, you'll discover how a family of farmers from the region came to own the estate, whose descendants still live there today.
There are several ways to visit:
- The simple guided tour
- A convivial guided tour (led by one of the owners, ending with a friendly drink).
- The unusual guided tour (which takes you through all the little nooks and crannies of Fontdouce Abbey; a word of advice: bring waterproof boots!)
- Guided tour along the water (a walk along the Fontaine Douce to discover Fontdouce through its natural setting)
