How do I get to Fontdouce Adventure Park from Angoulême?
There are several routes you can take to get to the Fontdouce tree climbing park from Angoulême. But if you’re looking for a more leisurely route, follow these directions: leave Angoulême via the N141 (the national road linking Cognac to Angoulême) towards Cognac, then turn onto the D939 at Saint-Yrieix-sur-Charente. Continue through Rouillac and Matha, then take the D121 towards Burie. After passing Burie, you will see signs on your right indicating the Fontdouce Adventure Park 3 km after Burie. Follow the signs and you will arrive directly at the parking lot. This journey from Angoulême takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes, allowing you to fully enjoy the road and the surrounding countryside.

In that case, after leaving Angoulême, head towards Cognac on the N141 (the national road linking Angoulême to Cognac). Then, in Cognac, take the bypass towards Saintes, then continue towards St Jean d’Angély and Niort. You will then pass through Cherves-Richemont and reach Burie. At the traffic lights in Burie, turn left towards Saintes and St Bris des Bois. After leaving Burie, continue for 3 km and you will see the sign for the Fontdouce Adventure Park on your right. Turn right and after 200 m, you will reach the entrance to the Fontdouce Adventure Park and Fontdouce Abbey car park on your right. Allow about 55 minutes to make this journey from Angoulême.
How do I get to the Fontdouce Adventure Park reception area on foot from the parking lot?
Once parked, head to the Fontdouce Adventure Park reception area on the opposite side of the valley. To do this, walk down from the parking lot towards Fontdouce Abbey below, then turn left to cross the road you arrived on. The reception area will appear just before the tree-top adventure park. You’ve arrived! Now you can start exploring the Fontdouce tree-top adventure courses!

Great experience, we spent half a day with friends at the park doing accrobranche, the team is very friendly and available for any questions or anything else! I can’t recommend a more sporting day out in the middle of the forest, you’re cut off from the world and it’s a real treat!

An excellent day in a very pleasant spot where you can stay in the sun or under the shelter of the trees! The accrobranche activity is top-notch and great value for money: numerous courses, different difficulties and the two big zip lines to do over and over again! The staff are very welcoming and smiling, and I wish you all the best for the future.

Do it again! Lots of courses and great zip lines. All the tree climbing is in the shade, which is great in summer! You can spend the whole day there, and there are picnic tables.
