With a wide range of activities such as tree climbing, all-terrain electric scooters, outdoor laser tag, bubble football, archery, digital rallies, treasure hunts and historical tours, there is plenty to keep you and your loved ones entertained for a whole day. Relaxation areas in the heart of the forest are available for your breaks. A snack bar and nature lounge are located within the park, offering a peaceful spot for a snack as well as other meal options in July and August.
How to get to Fontdouce from Cognac?
There are several ways to get to Fontdouce tree climbing from Cognac. The easiest is to take the N141 towards Javrezac. At the Javrezac roundabout, take the first exit onto Rue de Saintes, then turn left onto Chemin du Ménil. Turn left again onto Rue des Écoles and continue straight on for 2.5 km until you reach the next roundabout, where you take the second exit. Continue straight ahead for 6.2 km, passing through the small village of Chez les Rois. At the crossroads, turn left towards Les Beguillères, then at the next crossroads, turn right onto Rue de la Fosse aux Loups. You will come to another crossroads with a water tower. Turn left and continue for 1.5 km. You will see the sign for Fontdouce Adventure Park on your right. Turn right and after 200 metres, you will reach the entrance to the Fontdouce Adventure Park car park.
In Cognac, head towards Saintes via the ring road, then continue towards St Jean d’Angély and Niort. You will then pass through Cherves-Richemont and reach Burie. At the traffic lights in Burie, turn left towards Saintes and St Bris des Bois. After leaving Burie, continue for 3 km and you will see the sign for the Fontdouce Adventure Park on your right. Turn right and after 200 metres, you will reach the entrance to the car park for the Fontdouce Adventure Park and Fontdouce Abbey, which is on your right.
How to reach the Fontdouce Adventure Park reception from the Fontdouce Abbey car park
The car park is located above Fontdouce Abbey. Once parked, head to the Fontdouce Adventure Park reception, which is on the opposite side of the valley. To get there, walk down from the car park towards Fontdouce Abbey, then turn left to cross the road you arrived on. The reception area will then appear on the hillside just before the tree-top adventure park.
