The quickest and easiest way to get from La Rochelle to Fontdouce Adventure Park is to continue past Rochefort on the A837 motorway to Saintes. Once in Saintes, continue towards Angoulême and Cognac, bypassing Saintes via the ring road. After leaving the Saintes ring road, from the Cognac road, head towards La Chapelle des Pots, which you will pass through, then St Bris des Bois-Les Bujoliers, which you will also pass through. Continue towards Burie and about 3 km after leaving St Bris des Bois-Les Bujoliers, you will see the sign for Fontdouce Adventure Park on your left. Follow the direction indicated by the sign onto a small road. After 200 metres, you will see the Fontdouce Adventure Park car park on your right. It takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there from La Rochelle via this route.

In that case, before joining the motorway at Rochefort, head towards Tonnay-Charente, then Lussant, and continue to St Jean d’Angély. At St Jean d’Angély, head towards Saintes and Cognac, then at St Hilaire de Villefranche, turn left towards Cognac. After a few kilometres, you will enter the village of Brizambourg, and in the middle of the village, turn right towards St Bris des Bois. Once in St Bris des Bois, turn left towards Burie and continue for 3 km; you will then see a sign for the Fontdouce Adventure Park on your left. Continue for 200 m and you will see the Fontdouce Adventure Park car park on your right.
How to reach the reception area of the Fontdouce Adventure Park from the Fontdouce Abbey car park
The car park is located above Fontdouce Abbey. Once parked, head towards the Fontdouce Adventure Park reception on the opposite side of the valley. Walk down from the car park towards Fontdouce Abbey, then turn left to cross the road you arrived on. The reception area will then appear on the hillside just before the tree-top adventure park.
