How to get to Fontdouce from Saintes?
To get there from Saintes and travel to the Laser Game at Fontdouce Adventure Park, the most direct route is to head towards Cognac and Angoulême, then turn off towards La Chapelle des Pots and Burie. After passing through La Chapelle des Pots, continue towards Burie and pass through the village of St Bris des Bois, still heading towards Burie. Three kilometres from Saint Bris des Bois, you will see the sign for Fontdouce Adventure Park on your left; take the road indicated by this sign and continue for 200 metres to reach the Fontdouce Adventure Park car park on your right.
During peak season, the Saintes–Cognac road can be busy, so it may be advisable to take an alternative route via St Jean d’Angély. About 2.5 kilometres after leaving Saintes, turn right towards Ecoyeux. Then, after 4.5 kilometres, head towards St Bris des Bois on your right. When you reach St Bris des Bois, turn left towards Burie and continue for 3 kilometres until you see the sign for Parc Aventure de Fontdouce on your left. Follow the sign by taking the small road on the left and continue for 200 metres. You will then see the Parc Aventure de Fontdouce car park on your right.
How to reach the Fontdouce Adventure Park reception from the Fontdouce Abbey car park
The car park is located above Fontdouce Abbey. Once parked, head to the Fontdouce Adventure Park reception, which is on the opposite side of the valley. To get there, walk down from the car park towards Fontdouce Abbey, then turn left to cross the road you arrived on. The reception area will then appear on the hillside just before the tree-top adventure park.
