An adventure combining nature and respect for the environment

At Fontdouce Adventure Park, we believe that successful team building combines fun, adventure and shared values. It was with this in mind that L’Odyssée du Totem was created, a unique activity that immerses participants in a collective adventure, while respecting the exceptional environment of the Fontdouce valley.
Located about an hour from La Rochelle, our park offers a preserved natural setting, ideal for strengthening team cohesion while reconnecting with nature.
Here, adventure does not mean ecological impact: everything is designed to ensure that each activity is fun, immersive and sustainable.
The Totem Odyssey: an ethical and immersive team challenge

Inspired by life-size adventure games, The Totem Odyssey invites employees to take on challenges testing their observation, agility and communication skills.
Teams work together to progress through various trials in order to achieve victory and win the solid gold medal!
But behind the game, there is a real philosophy:
- The structures and accessories used during the activity are made from recycled materials.
- The sets are handcrafted from recycled wood, rope and pallets.
This collective adventure perfectly illustrates our vision of eco-friendly team building: learning to cooperate, having fun, but also respecting and observing the natural world around us.
Sustainable activities to bring people together without impacting nature

In addition to L’Odyssée du Totem, several team-building activities enrich the corporate experience.
Our electric all-terrain scooters allow you to travel along forest trails without noise or emissions, offering a gentle and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional modes of transport.
The tree-top adventure courses and digital rallies are designed to avoid damaging the environment: no uprooting, no noise pollution, no lasting traces left behind after your visit.
These activities help strengthen bonds between colleagues, while raising awareness of the richness of our natural environment.
A committed park: preserving, recycling, promoting

Fontdouce Adventure Park is not just a place for activities: it is also a living natural space, maintained with care and respect.
Our environmental commitment is reflected in concrete actions, visible throughout the park.
Promoting biodiversity through late mowing
Certain areas of the park are only mowed at the end of the season, allowing wildflowers and pollinating insects to flourish.
This practice promotes biodiversity, creates more natural spaces, and provides visitors with a vibrant and colourful backdrop throughout the year.
Manufacturing locally and sustainably
Benches, tables, armchairs: all the furniture in the park is made exclusively from recycled pallets and reclaimed materials.
This allows us to limit our consumption of resources while giving our reception areas an authentic and welcoming feel.
Terraces on stilts integrated into the ecosystem
Our wooden terraces on stilts, where meals and relaxation are organised, perfectly embody our sustainable approach.
No trees were felled to build them: they rest on lightweight pillars that preserve the soil and roots.
These spaces offer an exceptional view of the Fontdouce valley, in a peaceful atmosphere where it is not uncommon to spot birds or squirrels.
It is the ideal place for a team lunch or a moment of conviviality after activities.
Sort and raise awareness
Throughout the site, sorting points allow visitors to separate recyclable, organic and non-recyclable waste.
Our teams ensure that visitors, particularly corporate groups, are made aware of this simple but essential process.
Each team-building event thus becomes an opportunity to work together to reduce our ecological footprint.
Giving meaning to your corporate events

More and more companies want to give meaning to their internal events. By choosing an eco-friendly team-building activity such as the one we offer, they combine fun, team building and environmental commitment.
This experience not only strengthens bonds between colleagues, but also fosters pride in belonging to an organisation that is mindful of the impact of its actions.
Many companies in the Charentes region already trust us to organise their team-building days.
They leave with lasting memories and the satisfaction of having contributed to an environmentally friendly initiative.
Eco-friendly activities near La Rochelle
Our region has no shortage of leisure activities and team-building venues, and several players fully illustrate the rise of an events economy focused on sustainable development.
- Léa Nature – through its BiO’Pôle de Léa site (in Périgny, near La Rochelle) – offers an exceptional setting for seminars. This eco-designed complex covers 4 hectares and includes bioclimatic wooden buildings, green roofs, photovoltaic panels, and biodiversity gardens with beehives and insect hotels. It features meeting rooms, an organic and local restaurant, wellness and sports areas, all imbued with the values of the Léa Nature group.
This structure shows that a meeting place can combine efficiency, comfort and respect for the environment. - Balmaga (which offers team-building activities) is expanding its range of fun, eco-friendly formats: bike rallies, ‘Dakar en carton’ (cardboard Dakar), domino effects, etc. These activities are designed to raise awareness of environmental impact while bringing teams together.
Although they may not be located in our immediate area, this approach illustrates the trend in the sector: combining team building with environmental awareness.
At Fontdouce Adventure Park, we have chosen a different but complementary approach: offering a fun, immersive and responsible activity. Team-building activities, nature-friendly trails, infrastructure integrated into the landscape and a welcome focused on friendliness and sustainability.
Our regional roots, just a stone’s throw from Fontdouce Abbey, also allow us to offer meeting rooms in a historic setting, complementing the adventure experience with a touch of heritage.
It is this regional expertise, informed by our knowledge of the area and our authenticity, that sets us apart: not only do we offer an enjoyable outing for your teams, but we design it with sustainability in mind, rooted in the local area and complementary to other stakeholders in Charente-Maritime.
