How do I get to Fontdouce Adventure Park from La Rochelle for a tree climbing outing?
The quickest and easiest way to get from La Rochelle to the Fontdouce tree climbing park is to head towards Rochefort on the A837 highway to Saintes. Once you arrive in Saintes, continue towards Angoulême and Cognac, avoiding Saintes via the ring road. After leaving the Saintes ring road towards Angoulême and Cognac, from the Cognac road, head towards La Chapelle des Pots, which you will pass through, then St Bris des Bois-Les Bujoliers, which you will also pass through. Continue towards Burie and about 3 km after leaving St Bris des Bois-Les Bujoliers, you will see the sign for the Fontdouce Adventure Park on your left. Follow the direction indicated by the sign, take a small road, continue for 200m and you will find the Fontdouce Adventure Park car park on your right. Allow about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there from La Rochelle via this route.
